Howdy! I’m a space enthusiast from Texas with a media background and a fascination for aerospace. Occasionally, I get to work with professional rockets, and lately, I’ve been exploring launch and astrophotography to bring space a bit closer. Can’t wait to connect with others who share the passion!🚀
If you haven’t already, please go watch @xylafoxlin.bsky.social’s newest video. In it, she covers issues regarding mental health and women’s health in the aviation community. Even if you think this doesn’t affect you, it’s still 100% worth watching.

This photo was released today by Intuitive Machines, seemingly taken by their Athena IM-2 mission lander.

The lander clearly tipped over, but otherwise looks OK. But it can't recharge, so is functionally dead.

As far as I know, this is the first photo ever taken from the lunar south polar region.

We are one step closer to seeing the return of supersonic commercial travel! Boom’s XB-1 went supersonic for the first time, reaching Mach 1.1 three times over the Mojave Desert. This milestone paves the way for Overture, which aims to fly passengers at Mach 1.7

Theory time! I think there was a large leak in the methane tank causing the engines to run oxygen rich. The first engine out might have caused damage to the other raptors resulting in them shutting down as well.

What are your thoughts?
