“She’s been the most important figure in my growth and maturation as a head coach."

After 12 years, Duke is back on top in the ACC. The connective throughline from the last great era of Blue Devils basketball to now is Tia Jackson.

Went long on her and Kara Lawson:

The ACC has bent over backwards trying to appease Notre Dame for over a decade. They’re never joining as a football member, and aside from women’s hoops, I’m not sure what value they actually bring. If this full diaper tantrum leads to the Irish leaving, so be it.

They don’t call it Deeper Than Hate for nothing.
App State accepting the Birmingham Bowl spot just because Georgia Southern is also there is legendary hating. Calling all their kids back from holiday break after a 5-7 season because a chance to beat their rival opened up, 100000/10 no notes.

The ACC found a way to let an 8-5 team that lost to UConn win its football championship. A true basketball league.

Bet Spurrier’s fired up though.

A five-loss Duke team winning the ACC Championship and then getting left out of the playoff feels like the epitome of both Coastal Chaos and Triangle Good.

A week ago, Aaron Roussell and Tim Taylor learned a lot about their teams in Navy vs. Richmond.

During Feast Week, we learned a lot about contenders in the sport like Texas and North Carolina, and what Audi Crooks is capable of.

New from me: Tomorrow, former All-Big Ten talent Laila Phelia faces her old team, Michigan.

At Texas last year, a freak eye injury derailed her season as the Longhorns went to the Final Four.

With Syracuse, she's found a new perspective.

most-read story on SB Nation so far today.
How the hell did West Virginia, with just five players, upset No. 15 Duke?

Mark Kellogg had two words written on his dry-erase board: Believe and breathe.

“That’s the craziest game that I’ve ever been a part of in my coaching career, without question."
