Nurses not professionals? My wife worked a hospital switchboard for 18 years relaying orders to nurses from doctors who didn’t have time for their patients. The nurses did it ALL. You better hope they’re professionals, aye?

This article is 1000% correct. We can’t actually achieve any of these goals without more staff. Friendly reminder that the last time we had this few staff it was 1967. We served 480 claimants per staff then. Now we have to serve 1800 per staff. This is not sustainable or even achievable. Period.
