woohoo!!! i got into grad school!

built an app with rust, and @therealhtmx.bsky.social to view internal deep mutational scanning data! returning html is a very cool paradigm but took some effort to wrap my head around

stuck in a weird place where I can read a whole book about hypermedia but lose focus when reading the abstract of a paper my friend sent me…

ran a decaf coffee tasting at work for a bunch of my coworkers with coffees from three different roasters: Drift Away, Bird and Branch, and City Boy Coffees. had a blast and think ethyl acetate might be my favorite! thanks @jameshoffmann.bsky.social for a great decaf project :)

sometimes the hardest thing to do is to do nothing

not sure why I was so adamant against learning R... the tidyverse is quite neat
