The Animation Industry is in such bad shape, you guys. The amount of raw talent and power it is losing because it's not providing a sustainable living is a tragedy that future generations will study with grief.

Most people who have this contempt for process don’t actually want to be artists. They just want to own our work without having to pay us or respect us
the labor of art is mostly invisible. what you don't see in a finished piece is all the hours of thought it required, all the little discoveries and surprises and tragedies of production. art IS the process. if you aren't interested in the process, then i don't really know why you want to be artist
