Also, interesting observation with an almost 6yo: Jurassic Park didn’t scare him at all. But Home Alone has spooked him a few times. I guess he’s more scared of realistic things?

The most unrealistic part of Home Alone is not them leaving Kevin; it’s the parents sleeping until 8 am and the younger kids not waking them up at 5:30 am.

Having to explain to a 6yo that he needs to be patient with his grandma because she can’t hear well and forgets a lot because she has Alzheimer’s disease is -a lot- and also making me feel REALLY guilty about how many times he’s overheard me complaining about her

Update: The T-Rex saving the day might have been the best thing he’s seen in his short life 😊
So far, the most scared he’s been was when Tim was on the fence and the alarms were going off.
But noooooow we’re in the kitchen. 😬
