All those deaths of innocent people that receive silence and yet so many feel that one death of someone who spoke against empathy and for the necessary death of innocent people to ensure the right to be armed and so many feel they must be public in their condolences and compassion for this one life

No issues at all with tackling unscrupulous employers. Without a genuine bridging visa system, which allows those migrants affected a chance to find new jobs and new visa routes, it leaves people either becoming undocumented, or having their lives upturned.

Enjoyed a glorious day out at RHS Harlow Carr on Friday. I definitely need to add more late summer colour in my own garden.

(I've been trying to do this for a couple of years – but most of my new 'late summer' plants peaked early in the hot dry weather!)

Did I stay in bed until nearly midday, reading and doing puzzles? Why, yes I did. And it was great!

much love for the 'don't know' crew who must be wondering what that tree is doing in their living room
It's 25 November, and 11% of Britons say they have put up their Christmas decorations already - including 23% of 18-24 year olds

A reminder that the Royal Family claim £500,000,000 a year in benefits even though they have £22bn.

While 650 MP's get an extra £150,000,000 in benefits a year on top of their £94,500 salaries.

If we are cracking down on benefits, start here.

The Handmaid's Tale is a good book. But did you know that there's a book written by a Black woman about a post-apocalyptic Earth heavily affected by climate change and societal decline. The book was published in 1993, but is set in 2024 following a presidential election 👀 #BookSky #BlackBookSky

This is ABSURD.
Sorry for shouting, but I vehemently disagree that by sheer accident of birth, this one man should have the power over so many that he does.
Swathes of people paying him rent for their homes.
Land reform is overdue.
"Some tenants have single glazed windows that are completely rotten. We think it is because King Charles does not like the look of double glazing, but you have to be careful what you say because they are so powerful."
King owns dozens of rental homes that don't meet vital minimum energy standards
After examining Energy Performance Certificates for scores on the West Norfolk estate, we have found more than 30 properties owned by the King fail to meet minimum requirements

Obligatory snow picture. It is very pretty. There isn't a huge amount of snow and it is melting, so I'll enjoy the view while it lasts.

A recent study got A LOT of attention for showing that writing by hand fosters **memory and learning**.

One small problem: the researchers DID NOT MEASURE how much participants remembered or learned.

I am not making this up:
