ok no I've worked out why it's bad. at best you're just doing suggestion right, here's whats real bc i your analyst said so. and at worst this is dangerous for the same reason ur not sposed to get psychotics to free associate. yeh it's rly bad

fascinating bit by segal here. this "You Are X" style of analysis seems so bizarre to me, like i can't help but think the word choice wasn't the problem, it was the weird invasive interpretation. maybe lacan rly was right abt the don't be caught in the imaginary stuff
