So am I understanding his argument correctly. The cause of traveled stress is people are dressed too comfortably? It has nothing to do with flight delays, crowded planes, shrinking leg room, higher fees, etc.?

Before the midterms of 1866, President Andrew Johnson called his congressional opponents traitors and said they should be hanged.

Voters were so profoundly moved by his words... that they gave his opponents a supermajority in Congress, and the nation got the Fourteenth Amendment.

The rate of sepsis in Houston surged 63% after Texas banned abortion.

In the Dallas-Fort Worth area, where hospital leaders empowered doctors to intervene before patients’ conditions worsened, it rose 29%.

I drove from Houston to Oklahoma City today and learned there are self-identified Christian Nationalist radio stations. WTF? Who listens to these shitty stations (besides this guy who forgot to make a playlist for the trip)?

Schumer doesn’t get that, after the outrage in March, the only thing that would redeem him was not giving votes to the GOP this time, sticking it out until they caved.

He thinks he gets points for sticking it out for while this time. But that’s not how it works. The anger is now ten times greater.

Tonight’s Senate vote on the federal government shutdown should have been a time for strength.

Instead we saw capitulation and a betrayal of working Americans.

The American people need more from their leaders.

Amid the president’s fast-moving deportation campaign, the stories of most people being swept up are missed.

The U.S. government is paying $4.4 million to Eswatini to jail people forcibly removed from the U.S. in the notorious Matsapha prison. I think this deserves more press coverage.

Congratulations to the President who has achieved the impossible, or at least what I thought was impossible. No, it isn’t a Nobel prize, but somehow, despite the odds, he found a new legal team that makes the old one look somewhat competent. 🤦‍♂️
