This is the kind of @dublincityuni.bsky.social PhD graduation photograph you get when your topic is about three centuries of the impact and significance of the puppet theatre in Ireland!
Thanks to Brid Horan and @dairekeogh.bsky.social for humouring me and to Kyran O'Brien for capturing the moment.

How many metropolitan Deputy Mayors can be found picking litter on a Saturday morning? I often spot @donnacooney1.bsky.social cleaning Clontarf seafront in her Tidy Towns top and @dublincitycouncil.bsky.social bag on weekends. Credit where it’s due!

The wonderful Musée d'Orsay - as only the French could covert a railway station to at gallery in such style!

This is the best metaphor I have seen that may actually resonate with the students I teach re LLM usage.
Even accepting the premise that AI produces useful writing (which no one should), using AI in education is like using a forklift at the gym. The weights do not actually need to be moved from place to place. That is not the work. The work is what happens within you.

NEW: Macron has to interrupt Trump and correct a lie about Europe’s contribution.

TRUMP: “Europe is loaning the money to Ukraine. They get their money back."

MACRON: “No. We provided real money. To be clear.”

Trump clearly not used to get fact-checked live.
