This is so deeply at odds with the vision and history of America. Take pretty much any ethnic or racial group that are part of the American mosaic America today - they have all faced the same accusation. The moment these accusations are turned into policy are some of the most shameful in US history

People in the U.S. need to be paying attention to what’s happening in the U.K., because it’s going hand in hand with what is happening in the U.S., the agitators at work on both sides of the pond are working hand in hand with each other, and both have similar goals of ethnic cleansing.

fwiw, when the district court judge in this same case blocked trump from deploying the guard in chicago, she based her reasoning in part on several instances in which a grand jury declined to indict protestors whom ice/cbp claimed attacked them
The Trump admin's case to the Supreme Court that the situation in Chicago justifies a National Guard deployment rests partly on the actions of two motorists.

Now, prosecutors have moved to dropped charges against them. Julie Bosman reports... www.nytimes.com/2025/11/20/u...

Absolutely incredible; after shooting Marimar Martinez 5 times and arresting her on claims that she rammed them and pulled a gun, prosecutors have now moved to dismiss ALL criminal charges against her and her codefendant.
New: the govt has moved to dismiss its assault case against Marimar Martinez and Anthony Ian Santos Ruiz, two people accused of "box[ing] in" a Border Patrol vehicle in Chicago on Oct. 4.

One agent shot Martinez, with evidence presented to the court that he later bragged about in text messages.
