In Monrovia, California, protesters are purchasing 17¢ ICE scrapers from Home Depot and immediately returning them to create long lines and slow down the entire store. Their aim is to disrupt sales and convey a message opposing ICE raids occurring in their neighborhood.

Remind me again about how Liz was "not likeable"? America, you are catatonically dumb.
I happened to be in the audience for the Colbert taping last night where @warren.senate.gov called out David Ellison *by name* and I'm honestly shocked it wasn't edited out. We love to see it.

yeah, polio, nbd, right? unless (like my grandfather) it essentially cripples you so that you walk the rest of your life with a pronounced limp, or like my great-aunt, who was crippled not from polio but from the surgeon's attempts to yank her hip back into line.
Even in the house of horrors that is vaccine-preventable illnesses, polio stands out as particularly terrifying.

But the darker chapters of public health history do not seem to faze anti-vaccine activists. Now, it’s polio’s turn to be downplayed.
The anti-vax movement's wildest claim yet: Polio wasn't so bad
Add this to vaccines make you magnetic, cause AIDS, and measles is not a big deal.

Most Americans think raising children is unaffordable, with finances as the major factor in determining family size, a new report found.

The results are a key signal of how finances are shaping Americans’ decisions.
Most Americans say cost is limiting how many kids they have, survey finds
Seven in 10 respondents said they believe raising children is too expensive, a notable jump from 2024, according to an annual public opinion survey on U.S. family life.
