A quick resistance task: Google Gulf of Mexico (“Gulf of America" will be the title). Click on the three little dots in the title and "Send Feedback". Click on "Gulf Of America" text and select "Inaccurate content" (incorrect). Add the correct name (“Gulf of Mexico"). #resist

I'm getting all the education I can from community organizers. @moveon.org has an Action / Community / Training (ACT) Program. Training #1 for "cutting through the Chaos": 1) set boundaries; 2) lean on the experts; 3) feeling overwhelmed is part of the strategy; 4) build community.

Classes started this week for the spring semester. It was so good to see the students at the club fair yesterday, especially the e-board of Women+ For Change, the organization that I advise. I’m proud of their advocacy and inclusivity for those whose gender is marginalized and under attack.

It has been a long time since I signed up for a class, but it's imperative that I have a better understanding of how American laws and policies work in regard to gender. Day 1--"Gender, Law, & Policy", here I come! #gender #genderdiscrimination #law #policy #lifelonglearner

"If you can't fly then run, if you can't run then walk, if you can't walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward" (Martin Luther King, April 1960 address at Spelman College). Grateful to be in solidarity & moving forward, even with slow steps, with this community #MLKDay2025
