Literal bogwitch living reluctantly on dry land, driven demented by teenaged sons and too many house animals. Into peatland conservation and random stuff, when my bad knees don't get in the way. 🇮🇪🇪🇺🏳️‍⚧️🇦🇪🇺🇦🏴‍☠️

If a protester murders Israeli diplomats it is antisemitism. What is it called when Israeli forces deliberately shoot at international diplomats? What do we call the Israeli forces' murder of 51 Palestinians since dawn this morning? Words are meaningless.

Today's offering, a wildly fruiting blackcurrant bush. The birds don't care for this one much, although I'll be lucky if they leave me a single cherry or plum. At least I know there will be jam! 🌱

First skeet. Here, have a photo of this baby pear growing in my garden. I did not expect fruit from this tree for a couple of years yet! Looks like it may be a bumper year in this part of Ireland.

OK, this is wild.

In September 2023, geophysicists across the world started monitoring a very odd signal coming from the ground under them.

It was picked up in the Arctic. And Antarctica. It was detected everywhere, every 90 seconds, as regular as a metronome, for *nine days*.

What the HELL?
