In this cross-sectional study, my analyses show that young adults (age 18-25) who don't engage in at least 10 minutes of vigorous physical activity every week are more likely to report symptoms of depression.

Do minds have immune systems? In a bold new paper we lay out a theory that the mind has evolved cognitive defenses that ward off disruptive information. We call for empirical work to advance the emerging field of "cognitive immunology".

Too often, we see differences in perspectives as reasons to get in conflict with others. We get angry and make ad hominen attacks, criticisms that are directed against the person rather than the position they're taking. Instead, approach the disagreement with kindness and curiosity.
