While many of these recent legal proposals are symbolic....to even suggest that a medical AI bot could act as a prescribing entity is *wild*

& has dire consequences for the future of health equity (i.e. we already know who's getting AI doctors and who's getting human professionals...)
So an Arizona Congressman introduced a resolution to allow "AI" to act a prescribing entity. Energy and Commerce committee still has to vote on, and then the full house (if it makes it that far), but the fact that it's even being floated makes me so fucking sad & tired.
