How is a 65% YES vote on the rule changes an “emphatic result”, as EBU Director Martin Greene stated?
It barely passes.
And the subsequent steamrolling of the participation of “the BRUTAL one” by the “NEUTRAL” EBU makes it even more sus.
35% doesn’t forget nor forgive.
They should walk.

What’s also sad is that I know I’m not the only one who has had other fandoms and special interests go to shambles in the past year or so, besides what just happened to ESC. It really sucks that so much of what we love or use to cope with is taken from us :/

Spain had not skipped a contest since joining in 1961. The Netherlands were one of the original seven. Ireland is a 7-time winner. The ESC is losing some really important countries in the fabric of its history. #Eurovision
