Oh hey, new season of Stranger Things! Holy shit… some of these kids look older than their older siblings. I know time can’t stand still for anyone, but wow… seeing them this old really emphasizes how old I am and how much time has passed since it started!

This shit is why I'm getting less and less work on anime and having to scramble to ask around with YouTubers for help letting me do their CCs just to pay my damn rent. There's enough anime to caption out there that I should not be fucking struggling.
After publishing this article, I've heard from many that CR seems to be using AI to produce dub CCs. Now, thanks to a slip-up CR had with episode 6 dub of The Banished Court Magician, we can say that with 100% certainty: Crunchyroll is using the AI service Ollang.com for its dub closed captions!

Finally sat down to read the @denpabooks.bsky.social release of They Were 11 from Moto Hagio. A little more than halfway through, but I really dug the first part. A little less in enamored with the second part. It's interesting to see what themes and idea and characters she stuck with tho.

Ugh. I've somehow developed dry skin on my forehead over the past few weeks. It's very annoying. I haven't changed my soap, shampoo, or conditioner in a while... so... bleh. Ah well.

Digging Immortal Legend Batman. It's just... fun! Only have the first three issues, but the puzzles in the third issue were honestly pretty fun and neat. I didn't solve them, but I like that they were designed for the readers to be able to solve on their own. Really nice touch. Anyway, fun stuff!
