Jason Pargin has really grown as a novelist. John Dies at the End was a fun read, but read like “what if Stephen King, and Douglas Adams had a bastard love child”. Highly entertaining, but not thought provoking. This book keeps the laughs, but had some serious themes to think about. 👍
