As stated previously: morals in Theryl typically differ per cult or faction, but I suppose one of the biggest examples would be the Branded, who revere the god of fire and war.

This is somewhat interesting because each of the Divines have their own followers and rules. While all of Theryl recognizes the eleven deities, what specific moral values you hold largely depends on which of the Divines you most closely associate with.

Today I most a tumblr post delving deeper into magic on Theryl. I suppose I'll just move that on over here.

As has been established several times by now, the Shayta are the ultimate antagonists of Theryl. They're not exactly the most nuanced or complex, really; the Shayta hate the Divines and everything about Theryl, and want nothing more than to destroy it all.

Was torn about whether or not to do all the Seeker protagonists again, but... Sure, why not? I'll just do all the MC's from my four published works so far.

I'd say the creation of spark powder is one of the most controversial moments in Theryl's history. This explosive substance allowed for the creation of several new weapons, such as bombs, cannons and fire-arms, which radically impacted the way war has been waged in Theryl...

The definitive villains of Theryl are the Shayta: four ancient beings said to be powerful to rival the Divines. The Shayta fought the Divines in an ancient conflict predating time itself for control of the world. The Shayta were beaten and imprisoned in the underworld.

I want consequences, to say the least
He was days away from receiving new prosthetic legs when ICE grabbed him
His health is declining, they won’t let him get his legs and they’ve placed him in solitary

Oh, there are so many to choose from. Theryl has a history of Seekers helping to defend the world and alter the course of history even well before the Seeker Saga began. Still, there are a few stand-outs to make note of. I'll share four of my personal favorites.

In the world of Theryl, the color black is associated with Aka, the deity of darkness and justice. Black represents the shadows, which know the sins that stay hidden from the light. Many judges wear black in Aka's honor.
We're talking about COLORS in our world this week. Tell me about something in your world that's BLACK. Do you use it symbolically? Do you have any special black objects or animals or magical items in your world? Tell us about them!

In Theryl, white is most commonly associated with Yalid, the god of light and knowledge. It's not uncommon for scholars to adorn white robes in honor of their patron deity.

Probably the most notable use of purple on Theryl is negenza: otherwise known as the blood of monsters. This viscous, violet liquid flows through the veins of just about any beast originating from the underworld.
This week's theme is COLORS! Tell me about something in your world that's PURPLE. Do you use it symbolically? Do you have anything special in your worldbuilding that's purple? Maybe an animal, jewels, a garment, a flower, or something more strange and magical?

Green is most commonly associated with Lespir, the god of plants and medicine. In Theryl, healers are commonly denoted with bright-green robes to mark their association with him. Though designs vary slightly across nations, the green robes are a universal sign of healers.
It's COLORS week! Tell me about something in your world that's green. This one is probably more common, since green is so strongly associated with nature. Do you have any cool greenery in your world? Or maybe you've used it for an object? Tell me about it!

The first thing that comes to mind that's orange in Theryl would be Ruxima, the sun bird. Unlike his sister, whose gentle light soothes the mind, Ruxima's warm light invigorates the body. His feathers also grant solar seers the ability to gaze into the future.
We're talking about colors in our worlds! Tell me about something in your world that's YELLOW or ORANGE? I find that these two are often underrated/underused in worldbuilding, so I'd love to hear what you have. Maybe something symbolic of the sun or made of gold?
