Okay, introductions! Hi! I write propulsive popcorn genre TV. Support staff in rooms since 2018. I dig fight scenes that reveal character, sprawling tonal shifts (drama to comedy to… musical? yes, please), reluctant-at-first found families, and practical FX. TV rocks. Nice to meet ya! #scriptsky

if you are food insecure for both the humans and pets in your household there is a tool called Pet Help Finder that can help locate pet food banks nearby and other free or reduced price assistance and supplies for pets.
no one, ABSOLUTELY NO ONE, should have to give up their pet bc of this.

Didn’t know I needed to
see a giant, demonic hare parading down a wet and windy Irish street, to restore my faith in humanity, but there you go.
Last night I went to the Puca Festival in Trim, Ireland.

It's all fun and games until someone unleashes a giant demonic hare.

Guillermo del Toro on wealth: "a wealthy man is a man who has enough, not a man that needs more. If you have enough to invite someone for a beer? You're rich. If you have a yacht, planes, islands, and you still need more? You're not rich."

I LOVE seeing spec episodes from high level TV writers. It’s like seeing their old yearbook pics!

On my site I have a pretty decent database of spec episodes from produced TV writers: thebitterscriptreader.blogspot.com/2019/09/the-...

Times are tough for artists, writers, and other creative folk. If you have the means, consider signing up for someone's Patreon, or commission some art, or buy a book. Write a skeet about a creative you enjoy. Spread the word about their work.

Such a pleasure to chat with Ian Harvey of NZ's Collective Intelligence about everything, everywhere, all at once. And I don't mean the movie. 😉 This is New Mythos, big picture, how to make the world better in the micro and macro for everyone kinda stuff. Enjoy!

It's been a serious privilege to help curate this year's Women's List. The final list is an extraordinarily diverse range of stories worthy of the big (and small) screen.

Hi folks. I know things are tough for everyone right now so I hate to ask. I recently had surgery to get a tumor taken out - common procedure but it left me with pain that’s grounded me for the time being. With BTS work still incredibly scarce, I’ve just barely, barely gotten by. (1/3)

When I argued for longer TV seasons, it was primarily about the creative advantage of spending more time with characters, and having room to experiment. But it's also clearly something the audience wants, and the business finally seems to be recognizing this, as per @snoodit.bsky.social's article.
