went back to my other game to playtest it and it's amazing just how engaging the gameplay still is, even just picking it up from a year of no dev on it.

I had this a lot growing up and it still has lasting effects. And I think what galls me is that there were already advice and guidelines to being a better and supportive parent by then, but the idea of *learning* to parent beyond what had been handed down was anathema.
