@propublica found 0 evidence of Tren De Aragua, the men weren’t charged with any crimes. 🤔 (sound familiar Tennessee?)

The rule that prosecutors should not bring charges unless they expect conviction sounds good, but in practice means the wealthy are all but immune, since our legal system grants so many benefits to the accused, especially if they have money. Bring charges if you can indict.

Thinking about how when a neo-nazi hacked Colombia and released Zohran Mamdani's application the NYT covered it as a major scandal sourced from "Colombia" and yet they were seemingly regularly receiving offers of incriminating evidence on Trump and refusing to publish it.

Thank you to Senator Ron Wyden for letting us know the MAGA Senate Republicans are trying to slide a nationwide abortion ban into the shutdown negotiations.

Hell no! They want to control every part of women’s lives and we aren’t having it.

Dear Walmart,

Consideeing you have more employees on SNAP than any other company — instead of simply having a ‘cheaper’ Thanksgiving bundle, how about giving your underpaid employees who must rely on SNAP for survival, one for free? It’s the least you can do. And I stress, the LEAST…
