The New York Times so beloved of liberals--and it has to be, otherwise it would be ineffective at pushing conservative & warhawk propaganda to those same liberals--had direct Epstein testimony against Donald Trump but chose to hide this and pretend the email server / Weiner's laptop were the story.
Not only was the Times obsessed with Hillary Clinton's emails while ignoring emails about Donald Trump sent to its own reporter, but since then it has constantly attacked anyone who dared look into questions of Trump's character. All with sanctimony.

Now we know it was all a big lie.

To recap: Jeffrey Epstein offered a NY Times reporter photos taken in Epstein's kitchen of Donald Trump and girls in bikinis *and* implored the NYT reporter to put this information in the public discourse in 2015

What did the NY Times editors know about this offer?

Common but toxic weirdo belief. Alleviating temporary mild to moderate symptoms with relatively low-risk OTC medication is useful, safe, effective, and an overall outstanding medical advance, you popekilling "liberty for me but not for thee" jackass.
JD Vance calls ibuprofen "useless medication" and implies it's not "necessary, safe and effective."

I mean honestly, it *does* explain how elite backlash against MeToo was about as intense as the reaction to 9/11.
My takeaway from every new Epstein revelation is that some powerful people victimized many powerless young women, many more knew, some actively enabled it--and we're still being told that MeToo and accountability for sexual violence have gone too far

The NY Times shouldn’t exist. I don’t care how many puzzles they publish or how many recipes for gazpacho they have, get rid of it and salt the earth on which it stood
Can we circle back to the part where the NY Times never disclosed that they have incriminating information on Donald Trump from sent by Epstein that's been sitting on their email servers for nearly a decade?
Stuff like this makes me wonder why there hasn't been any reporting about Trump having affairs during his presidencies

Brett Kavanaugh knows Jeff Epstein too huh
Jeffrey Epstein advised Steve Bannon that the lawyers representing Brett Kavanaugh in his confirmation hearing should accuse Christine Blasey Ford of being on medications that cause false memories or memory loss.

The Epstein files released today did not come from the DOJ's Epstein Files. They came from Epstein's estate. Pam Bondi is still protecting Trump at all costs. Today's release by Democrats was aimed at undermining her efforts. And to make it harder for Donald to pardon Ghislaine Maxwell.

They’re wearing masks so they can’t be prosecuted later. As long as they think they can’t be prosecuted, their crimes will intensify. They will torture, starve and kill, as they have already, on greater and greater scale.

Signed, someone who’s covered the unaccountable War on Terror for 23 years.
I’ve come to believe that we need to gather considerable forces and a campaign to demand the removal of face masks by ICE, Border Patrol, FBI and police.

It is a practice in conflict with the principles of transparency & accountability that are central to the concept of democracy.

There are some amazing journalists doing some amazing work out there that actually helps but so many of the publications they’re forced to work through are cutting them off at the knees.

So to the editors and owners of the NYT, WSJ, LAT, Atlantic, etc.

CUT IT THE FUCK OUT.

And if we want to make it live up to the mythology in our heads we have to hold the people making it worse to account.

And the news we are told we can trust needs to be worthy of that trust.

And they’re not. Not by a long shot.

They need to fucking stop. I get it sells. If it bleeds it leads and all that.

But real people are suffering, panicking, dying and they’re a part of the problem.

The US is far from perfect, honestly I’m not sure it’s ever even been good in any real sense of the word.

But it’s what we’ve got.

And shit like the NYT, Atlantic, WaPo, etc playing GOP talking points isn’t fucking helping.
