about a third of people experience long-term nerve pain after a case of shingles, and ocular shingles can cause permanent vision loss

the shingles vax makes you pretty tired and the fever can last up to 5 days
Happy to help. Just recovered from ocular shingles (yep, eye shingles) and it's fucking terrible.

Just get the fucking shot. This shit sucked and it sucked for at least a full month.

In my eye forever btw, and can't get the vax cuz my body just needs to chill with it as a part of my eye now.
people gotta talk about their shingles experiences. no one is going to enjoy this

They're using the confinement box, one of the most horrific methods of CIA torture in the post-9/11 black sites, against migrants now. This is the direct result of the lack of consequences for the architects of the torture program. Either there will be criminal penalties for this or it will expand.

Amnesty International, interviewing migrant detainees, identifies use of the confinement box. There can be no denying it is a torture prison

There has been no debate here among constitutional scholars, historians, political scientists, anyone with a pulse really.

Any telling you that this very straightforward point, one that has been universally accepted for a century and a half, is now an "abstruse" issue is just a liar and a hack.
Anyone who knows this history should know there’s no contested issue.

It doesn't matter if you can prove you're a U.S. Citizen.
Without due process there's no one to prove it TO.
And ICE clearly doesn't care.

The Supreme Court paved the way for a felon to return to the presidency — where, behind the shield of office, that felon has ordered a string of murders.
The boat was split in half. 9 men were dead. 2 more clung to a floating piece of wreckage and tried desperately to flip it over for 41 minutes straight. There was no possible way they were going anywhere.

Then they were killed in cold blood by the U.S. military.

the economy is understimulated because people aren't buying things

to counter this, we should stimulate the economy with stimulus checks

in order to bring stability, we should keep doing it consistently, perhaps every month, for every person, universally

it's quite basic really

I kid you not when I tell you that firing at the shipwrecked is quite literally provided as an example of an illegal order.

Thing is, we DID hear about it at his confirmation hearing.

Every single senator who voted to confirm Hegseth knew he held these views about the laws of war.

They voted to confirm him anyway.
Everyone should read this terrifying thread about Hegseth’s published views wrt war crimes. It’s pretty fucking radical …. We needed to hear about this in his confirmation hearing.
A chapter in Hegseth’s book is literally titled “More Lethality, Less Lawyers.”

It’s almost as if there were signs!

Afghans saved many American lives during the war. Way more troops are alive because of them than have been harmed by asylum-seekers. The potential reward of coming to the US was key to securing cooperation. Kicking everyone out will ensure no one helps again.

There are going to be prominent Democrats and mainstream media voices who insist that we have to "turn the page" and "forgive and forget" and they should all be roundly ignored, if not mercilessly mocked.
It’s crazy to think about the crimes we’re going to learn about after this regime ends.

We’re already hearing about Watergate level crimes every week. Imagine what will come out after it’s over.

We’re going to need a full accounting of all that’s been done in violation of the constitution.
