A road winds towards a snowy mountain, with autumnal trees on either side, with some patches of sunlight. Taken on the road alongside Loch Clair in the Coulin Estate in NW Scotland. The mountain in the distance is the southern side of Beinn Eighe, with a light dusting of early snow on the top.

I know it’s the most cliched photography spot in the whole archipelago but we had to go and have a look. The only photo I had time to edit while away. And no, I didn’t dare go down to the bottom of those steps . . 🫣

Múlafossur waterfall, with the water tumbling over huge cliffs into the sea, a beautiful Faroese village bathed in light at the top, and moody dark skies.
