4.1 contains a refactored log impl for the raft library that quorum queues and Khepri uses (Ra). In particular we disconnected the lifetime of the memtables from the WAL, allowing much more flexibility around how memory can be reclaimed resulting in a lower and more intuitive memory use profile.

Why is so much modern electronic music completely lacking in melody, but tediously melodious? Happy to give up tunes ‘n’ riffs if there’s interesting stuff going on, but arpeggiators will never write a melody for you.
