Saw these the other day. Edible puffballs?

They're by the side of a road, so I'm not sure I'd want to eat them due to the contamination, regardless.

People saying Trump is dying or possibly dead, but I for one would urge caution, because it is quite possible a second healtbar will appear as he enters his second phase and a gargantuan centipede will burst forth from his torso, so be careful of his new sweep attacks and toxic buildup from bites.

I had a realization the other day - I think we're all misunderstanding what LLM's are trying to be. They're not productivity tools, but just another case of algorithmic optimization in order to capture attention.

Think about how sycophantic ChatGPT tends to be if you engage with it.

If I changed my icon to not be a picture of me, a completely ordinary middle-aged dude, would I stop getting all these random catfishing profiles trying to add me?

Suddenly remembering for no particular reason how a half dozen Miss Teen USA contestants said Donald Trump walked in on them in dressing rooms like a decade ago and we just ignored it.

How does this series of tweets so perfectly encapsulate everything regarding the current state of the right wing in America?

Keep hearing these anecdotal stories about people who "use AI" in their lives, and wonder how the hell they trust anything systems spit out that lie roughly a third of the time.

I'd be in such deep shit at work if I tried to submit an analysis with a 33% error rate.

With the impending recision of Harvard's tax-exempt status, it strikes me that public universities have a huge, huge advantage now over private universities in free speech in the Trump regime.

Harvard will litigate. But is the easiest solution just to make a deal with MA for in-state tuition?

Trump wants to go back to the golden age of the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory is a more accurate characaterization - again based on his own repeated statements - than whatever wishcasting others are doing.
There's something weird happening where The Discourse about the tariffs is about how Trump is trying to return us to 1950's and 1960's, the manufacturing heyday of America, but he's not! He' been very very explicit about this. He wants to return us to the 1890's. That's a different project!

This is a nutso statement. The Trump Administration is literally calling on other nations to become our tributaries in order to stop the trade war.

Not a lifting of trade barriers. Just give the U.S. money. Straight up in the fifth point.

It's simply astonishing in the span of like three months we've seen the Trump Administration shift from "unbridled growth on its way" to "some short-term pain in the public sector" to Trump actively cheering a stock market crash/recession on Truth Social.

I really have no words.

I don't read Jake Sisko, he's a journalist who I think is not very good & about to go out of business. I had no idea he was in a group subspace communique about the strike on the Gorn, which was very effective by the way. You're telling me about it for the first time. #StarTrek #SISKO197

I realized yesterday (after seeing a moving van picking up stuff on Monday, and a for-sale sign being put up yesterday) my next door neighbor died. Not only died, but (checking the obituary) he died back in December, and we never noticed.

Normie Dems are hopping mad now, while the response from the left seems muted.

Likely because this is the "mask off" moment for them that we reached years, if not decades ago.
