Watched the Criterion remaster of Eyes Wide Shut. I'm not really sure I like this more than the old bluray transfer. It looks washed out and too high contrast in some parts, and the beautiful blues are now teals, which I'm not at all fond of. The film grain is also excessive at times.

Netflix kept pushing The Sentinel on me, so I decided to give it another shot. I watched it a while ago and remembered nothing about it. Seeing it again, I think it’s a pretty interesting, moody thriller with some rather shocking imagery, particularly in the finale. Decent flick!

Watched Lucio Fulci’s The Sweet House of Horrors, which was a TV movie. It starts promising, feeling like classic Fulci, but after the (shockingly violent for TV) intro, it becomes really uneven, trying to be both a children’s movie and a violent thriller. The kids also have horribly dubbed voices.
