This is about the fact that any time in media there are characters of color in lead roles, they get decentered. Especially if there’s a co-lead white character, or any white in-proximity character. It’s always imbalanced and to the character of color (especially black) characters negligence.
When someone in a new fandom says it’s not toxic, and you scan through things and realize it’s more that no one’s pointed out the biases that have already formed.
There’s no such thing as a non-toxic fandom, just ones where people are bigoted and/or ignoring bigotry (actually just and!)

Alright, sound design need to get on top of the empty cups. Hate when a character is ‘drinking’ an empty coffee and the hollow sound is blatant. I can put up with the clearly weightless element, it’s the lack of correct audio that gets me.
