Here is yoke after blocking. I decided to do ladderback jacquard stranded technique for very first time instead of catching floats for long stretches of black behind white.
Watched a bunch of YouTube videos to learn. Very happy with results!

Progress on the penguins. Fun pattern. Should finish it in the next few days. I noticed a slight mistake I made in the placement of the snowflakes above the penguins. They're just a bit to the left when they should be centered. Oh well, the recipient (my hubby) is to the left too. :-) #Knitting

I updated my phone to iOS26 public beta for one reason: screening unknown callers and filtering texts. I had been using Aura before. So far, the native features do not disappoint.

Anyone who already recertifies annually for Medicaid with work requirements (yes, it’s a thing) knows it’s a ridiculous joke in big,horrid bill that everyone entitled will have to do it, and more often.
With no increase in staff or technology in these offices, it’s insane. People will be hurt.

I wonder how much profit Quest Diagnostics makes from those who blindly pay small amounts and don't double check claims?
My kid is dual special needs. $0 copay for routine labs. Quest invoices $10-20 every single time. I fight it and win after I call them and raise heck every time. It's tiring.

It was fun finishing some small #knit projects in the last couple of weeks to give coworkers gifts while I was onsite with them last week. 2 of 3 of these were made with yarn I got at the #PhillyYarnCrawl a few weeks ago. 🧶

Last ep of The Pitt reminded me I need to donate blood. I’m O neg. I made appt this week.
Challenge is I’m on 10mg Eliquis/day indefinitely due to DVT/PE a few years ago. I don’t have excessive bleeding or bruising when I get labs.
Will they turn me away? Red Cross website is unclear.

I live in a community of senior citizens. When you say "kitchen table issues" THIS is what my neighbors are talking about. There is no way no how ANY of them would shrug off getting their monthly deposit they EARNED.

It makes me sad.
