It's not that I am disappointed the messy weather hasn't started yet. It's that I'm worried it will hit on the drive home and I will get the worst of it then.

I left the house ten minutes early this morning because weather was supposed to be terrible. Rain and sleet and mush. Ended up making it to work before the weather started and got a nice parking spot too. Feels like a good spot to the day.

26,220 words written this month. I'm really happy with this - it's been a while since I've done this well. In fact, May was the last time I had a month with more words than this. And this is my 4th best month this year.

It feels especially daunting now, considering that three full work weeks are coming up without any extra days off. It's a pretty crazy time to be around school kids. I'm not looking forward to it.

One of the commenters on my Romance Book Blast Promo post said we should be boycotting all this crap. Looking at the person's profile, our views mostly align otherwise. Which makes me think there is a profound misunderstanding - supporting an indie author is not the same as supporting Walmart.
