I think we under-estimate how many people are miserable because they have no enthusiasms, no hobbies, because they gave up reading and quit learning when school ended. It's shocking how much studying a beloved subject elevates your mood. It will transform your life.

New Zealand Food Safety is advising the public not to collect or consume shellfish gathered from the Taranaki coast due to the presence of paralytic shellfish toxins. “Routine tests on mussels from Pukearuhe have shown levels of paralytic shellfish poisoning toxin over the safe limit,” says New Zealand Food Safety deputy director-general Vincent Arbuckle.
