So, Republicans want to get rid of Muslims and immigrants, but Trump and Republicans also want to take Saudi and Qatari money and are fine with selling American property and businesses to Gulf Muslims.

Cool, got it.

I think Kim Davis should of earned the RRH elections Turkey of the year of the award. "for not even having a strong enough case for Thomas to agree to take up".
Even the people who were pretty confident Davis was going to lose the case thought for shore at least Thomas was going to side with her.

Kim Davis has had some of the most embarrassing defeats in her life since she became a republican.
in 2018 She lost as an incumbent in a county Trump carried by >20% in 2016 (Rowan County.) and she didn't just lose she lost by >8%.

Trump didn’t need Congress to do all this unconstitutional stuff but apparently he thinks he needs Congress in order to release the Epstein files.

Republican Senators slipped this nugget into the CR last night. Rigging the legal system to give $500,000 or more to each of them because someone followed the facts and looked at their phone records. That’s your money folks.

My Republican colleague justified his vote to let the Senators who were investigated after January 6th give themselves kickbacks worth millions of dollars by suggesting they would be too ashamed to claim that money.

Wouldn’t you say, shame is dead in DC?

House Republicans passed the Senate’s funding bill that allows 8 Senators to collect millions in taxpayer dollars while doing nothing to save healthcare or end the affordability crisis for millions of Americans.

It’s a disgrace, but I’ll keep fighting for a better future for all Americans.

I voted No on the Senate’s shutdown deal. It is a disappointing deal that does not prioritize the health of Americans — the very heart of our spending debate.

Here is another(probably better) example. 1980 was an election that was so republican friendly that it created a whole realignment overnight. republicans outperformed expectations by a lot almost everywhere. however even that election had some republican misses. (particularly in the house).
Democrats did lose a special election in NH in a very competitive district. so they did have some misses. that happens in every wave. for example even in the DEM(anti Watergate) wave of 1974 they did lose these races

There was a talk about VA 1st CD trending left before the 2025 elections. but interesting VA 1st CD was one of the best area's for VA republicans in 2025 compared to 2024. most of the counties that swung right in 2025 compared to 2024 are in VA 1.

The BBC was right about the Capitol riots. In a sane world, Trump would be in jail

The US President faced impeachment over the violence, and in a world where Republicans had more courage, he would have been found guilty

They resigned because they said Trump incited the Jan 6th riot.

Well, what EXACTLY does “TO THE CAPITAL” mean, then?

What does “you have to fight like hell or you’re not gonna have a country any more mean, then?

What does Stop the Steal mean, then?

It fascinates me How many Trump supporter voted for CA prop 50. According to exit polls 12% of 2020 Trump voters voted for it and 10% of voters who approve of Trump voted for it. I am very interested in why A Trump supporter would vote for it.

It is absolutely Insane how much the democrats in Georgia won By. the election in the democratic areas that also happened are only 1% of the reasonings. even if you minus Fulton and DEKALB counties from the race the democrats still win by more than 145,000.
