Historical Fact: Between March 1946 and August 1947, our airport was used for housing prisoners of war. This taught us everything we know about handling passengers today. #CustomerService

All corporate assets belong to the State.

Buy stocks.
The exact moment was probably Abrego Garcia's kidnapping, but what's happening in LA makes it abundantly clear that the United States is no longer a democratic republic and has unmistakably lapsed into authoritarianism.

You should adjust your behavior accordingly.

Pontius Pilate’s savvy decision to crucify Jesus was a political masterstroke, but ultimately he was removed as Governor of Judea after his costly tariff war with neighboring Roman provinces devastated Judeans’ 401ks.

And that’ll be it.

And that, depressingly, that will be sufficient for the mouth breathers & Murdoch media rage meth addicts. He won’t ever poll below 40% approval.

Sad but true

If it is any comfort, this will be reversed within a month. It might not last even a fortnight, for just 1 plain simple reason:

He’s a coward.

Trump has literally always been a coward in business. The one who bluffed himself into losing all of his chips each time.

Here’s how that works:

It’s genuinely funny that the US thinks is can go full isolationist, treat the world like crap and then expect everyone to still treat them with kid gloves.
US officials have told European allies they want them to keep buying American-made arms, amid recent moves by the European Union to limit US manufacturers' participation in weapons tenders, five sources familiar with the matter told Reuters reut.rs/4jjPyj7

As a fund manager I know what it is to do worse than you would expect. Shit happens. Too regularly for my taste.

But I am amused by the language some use to describe losses: "the fund contracted 2.7% in February"...

I guess they had no flows.
