Schumer and Jeffries keep saying they need to focus on kitchen table issues like health care subsidies but "regime cancels comedian for telling joke" is right fucking there. If they can't make hay out of this they're even more useless than they've been through all of this so far.

Jimmy Kimmel has a LOT of powerful Hollywood friends and is very well liked in the industry.

Here's a test for all of them.

Will they stand up for Jimmy and finally speak out against Trump and MAGA's fascist march?

Or will they both sides it?

Lets see.

“We had some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and with everything they can to score political points from it.”

For those saying, "We're approaching martial law," no.

We are not APPROACHING martial law.

Martial law is when laws are enforced by the military. National Guard is a military, and they are now law enforcement in D.C.

D.C. is officially under martial law. Full stop. It is a military police state.

High-speed rail isn't a boondoggle.
*Highways* are a boondoggle.

North Americans pay thru the nose for the world's most expensive transport system.

Highways are publicly funded. But people still buy their own vehicles—car ownership is $12,000/yr on average—for the privilege of driving on them...

This law would mean that if my wife and I choose to leave the apartment we've shared since 2018, the minimum we can pay in rent is double what we pay now - and we're a university employee and a publicist...

Running on killing the middle class of a city in an affordability crisis is a weird angle.
Adding an extra layer of bureaucracy to apartment searches all for a law that wouldn't even let Cuomo kick Zohran out of his current apartment, great stuff
Cuomo's campaign provides some more details on his Zohran Mamdani-trolling proposal to make rent stabilized units in NYC income-restricted:

Also, this is not a distraction. This is what is happening in real life.
Let’s be clear about what’s happening. Violent crime in DC is at a 30-year low. There is no emergency. This is a test run. If the courts, Congress, and the rest of us let him get away with this, he’ll do it in every city that doesn’t capitulate to him.

If Cuomo is such a Democrat, why is he running on a third party line? He lost the nomination to be the Democrat. Let's not treat him like one. Ridiculous.
