Longs to be Mothra
English sadly. West Midlands. Probably post the same thing many times - shite memory
Long call with a friend, he asked quite bluntly what do I have to offer any women I'd hope to date. "The joy of mental illness, autism and forgetting most of what happened yesterday" is all I had. I think I can work with that...

mother!
Never mind movies you’ve watched multiple times, name a movie you’ve watched once and would never watch again.

Unnecessary 30 minute walk today when it turned out GP appointment was phone not in person. Walk was actually nice with a weird lack of cars and people. Anxiety all gone after phone call

I liked The Abyss. One of the top letterboxd reviews saying it started off like Aliens then went a bit like 2001 wasn't far off, though I'd have preferred more weirdness and beauty. There's a longer cut than the theatrical one? It felt like maybe some pieces were missing

Also cutting down on drinking, first week of trying went well. Less embarrassing posts, texts and actually sleeping well is what I need. Maybe I can be done with it in a few months again

Going for a month or two without buying any films or games. I've got so much to catch up on. I do have the Eureka Charisma/Cloud release ordered from last month for January, looking forward to that

Ultraman Tiga not my favourite Ultra show but might just have the best ending (including the previous several episodes that put it fully in position) since 1966, maybe better. Not sure when I'll start Dyna. Very rewarding series especially going through in air date order like this

In a discord server we were doing a top films of the 21st century list. Put together up to 75 films if you want to take part. Thought I'd share mine, not seen all of these more than once but they've all blown my mind in some way or hit me deeply emotionally letterboxd.com/magnoliamoon...

Finished it after all. Great. I see more each time why it's so loved. Michael Biehn is so fucking weird here. Going with a first watch of The Abyss tonight then hopefully finally see Terminator 2 tomorrow
I got through 30 minutes of The Terminator before losing my connection. Doesn't look like it'll be back tonight. This is what I get for attempting to use a streaming service

Getting back to Black RX and Kenji Ohba is in the first episode I start up. Always great to see him!

Weekly kitten time is earlier today though he's not been up to much. I think this boy is just going to sleep until my niece gets back from school

These Lidl Wine Gums are terrible and so hard I think I'll probably lose a tooth today. Still I keep going

So instead I pissed about smashing heads and backs into stolen furniture and shopping trollies in parks with other kids I barely liked. Maybe if I'd stuck with the old guy I'd have done something
Like many kids I wanted to be a pro wrestler, I thought the actual sport of wrestling would be a good foundation and left after one lesson of rolling around on a mat with a sweaty old man

I should probably start making paper and digital logs of what I watch and listen to instead of just relying letterboxd and last.fm, my memory is getting worse and it'd be sad to not have that to look back on

Going to keep listening to the same handful of songs all day and watch tokusatsu shows. Not much else feels right
