If Trump now wins a Nobel Prize, it will be assumed it was due to political pressure, thereby devaluing the award, and possibly all Nobel awards in the future. Trump corrupts everything he touches.

You really can't go wrong by starting with the premise that Trump is always lying. It will make one's reasoning process much simpler and efficient. Even when he vocalizes a fact-based statement, it is probably a cynical set-up for more lies.

It is a bizarre phenomenon, at least for democratic nations, that will be studied for many decades, hopefully as just an historical anomaly. When Trump is mercifully departed, there must be a serious attempt to explain it because it is very dangerous, not just for democracy, but for humanity.
