It’s awkward posting for something nominally in my honor but this is really an event to support the large, dedicated, compassionate and transformative team at the Seaver Autism Center. Please support our wonderful team! And stop by if you can!

This was certainly not the main point of the post :-) but I see your point and will try to check with the church next time I am on the square. Will edit the post.
If you thought MAHA was going to at least look at environmental risk in an unbiased way. Nope. A close friend of Vance is now head of NIEHS with no process amidst the shutdown: JD Vance officiated the wedding of new head of NIH environmental institute | Science | AAAS www.science.org/content/arti...

The bell in First Congregational Church in Falmouth, MA was forged in 1796 by Paul Revere. It has been rung over 30,000,000 times. Today the congregation rang it especially for the No Kings event.
Nine years ago I was honored to be inducted into the National Academy of Medicine. But the president of NAM has been so muted about the devastating impact of the current administration on health sciences. I look forward to working with Dr Bertagnolli, the incoming president of NAM, from July 2026.

Appropriate clinical testing of leucovorin and evaluating the role of antibodies to the folate receptor as a biomarker are straightforward studies and could have easily been carried out since the underlying hypotheses were first suggested by Dr. Richard Fry. www.thetransmitter.org/spectrum/exc...
Exclusive: Meet Richard Frye, who studies leucovorin for autism
Frye has led two placebo-controlled trials of the folate supplement in autistic people; the first was suspended by regulators, and the other has yet to be published.

To those I may have wronged

I ask forgiveness.

To this I may have helped,

I wish I could have done more.

To those I neglected to help

I ask for understanding.

To those who helped me

I thank you with all my Heart.

publish anything by anyone (who’s willing to pay) with no editorial oversight—and even less peer review. Paper mills are not the way forward.

I see one of MDPI’s 426 journals? I pass.

We need hard science, flawless methodology, rigour. Now more than ever.
