#Magic coach Jamahl Mosley said Jalen Suggs (left knee trochlea cartilage tear) “responded well” to the little bit of contact work he did in practice earlier in the week, but said Suggs won’t be available for tonight’s preseason finale against New Orleans.

Breaking News: The #Magic have signed Javonte Smart and Phillip Wheeler to Exhibit 10 contracts, @orlandosentinel.com learned.

Orlando has also waived Jalen Crutcher and Alex Morales, who were an Exhibit 10 deals, I’m told.

Regarding the new #Magic PA announcer, I’m told the franchise has two finalists and they’ll each get to work one of Orlando’s home preseason games as an audition before a decision is made. The team hosts Miami on Sunday and New Orleans on Thursday ahead of opening night Oct. 22.
