Trump had signaled willingness to send Tomahawk missiles to Kyiv and even said he believed Ukraine could win back lost territory. But he changed tack Friday, saying he didn't want to escalate the war and the warring sides "should stop where they are."

Zelensky has now landed in Washington ahead of his meeting with Trump tomorrow. “Moscow is rushing to resume dialogue as soon as it hears about Tomahawks,” he says of the Putin call with Trump which came at the Kremlin's request.
Donald Trump said on Thursday that he would again meet Vladimir Putin for talks seeking to end the war in Ukraine. And of all places, in Budapest.

“The threat of Tomahawks pushed Putin to hurry up,” said a senior Ukrainian official.

Here's the best piece yet on potential Tomahawks for Ukraine. How they work, how many the US has to give Ukraine, what they'd be used for, and what the bar is for Trump to make Tomahawks an actually effective pressure mechanism rather than symbolic.

My visit to the Srebrenica memorial moved me so deeply.

I honoured the memory of the more than 8,300 Bosniak boys and men who were murdered in Srebrenica 30 years ago.

And I paid tribute to the mothers, wives and daughters carrying the weight of loss for three long decades.

Drones are redefining warfare.
Having drone defences is no longer optional.

Our target is to have functional anti-drone defences by the end of 2027.

We must learn from Ukraine. Ukraine air defences take down 80% of targets.

Ukrainian drones stopped Russian advance on land and in the Black Sea, and devastated the Russian strategic bomber fleet. Ukraine shows besides tech we need integrated command & a new warfare ecosystem.
