I like this idea. Ask me a question. I'll answer and ask one back.
(Taking a page out of @mtrkdjoyce.bsky.social’s book)

I’d like to build deeper relationships with my followers. So ask me a question, I will answer, and ask you a question.
My vintage Lily Speed-O-Weave arrived! It's been a while since I got anything off eBay, so what is the current etiquette on mentioning the noticeable pot smell in the seller review?

Researching a Thing I brought back from ransacking my mom's heirlooms, and now I want a hexagonal lap loom with almost every fiber of my being (pun unavoidable). The holdout fibers are the ones reminding me that I have Winter Bills To Pay and 2 lifetimes of craft projects in the queue.

Proof that I have the patience to stab something 8,944 times. Twice.

Got divorced, needed a paycheck and health insurance. Found somewhere that would provide both and carved a niche as the person that really understands an esoteric part of the process that keeps my employer from losing money.
What’s the lore behind choosing your career path ?

@olafurw.com Did you see Norway's national costume at the 2025 Miss Universe pageant?

My first attempt at steamed filled buns seems to be a success. Test run of stuffing-inspired baozi, because I am incapable of making less than an entire vat of stuffing, but still want the stuffing flavor and texture experience.

I really hope I am not supposed to be running the meeting in 2 minutes. I'm just back from PTO and am still remembering how to do my job, much less teach it to others.

Waiting for my ride home from the airport. The airport employee who enforces the No Parking No Standing No Waiting signs in the Arrivals area seems to REALLY enjoy his work.

I just witnessed the best "reason my toddler had a tantrum": ~2yo was toddling out some energy in the airport & had a full floor-flopping fit when parent didn't let them toddle off with the stranger who stopped to make sure the kiddo had a nearby adult (parent was watching from maybe 8 feet away).

Whoever's idea this was (both as a product, and installing them at @denverairport.bsky.social ), they need a raise.

I toasted the perfect 5-layer marshmallow the way mom taught me, and I can think of no better way to end the day that started with yeeting granulated mom off a cliff.

Bless his heart, my dad is trying.

My tail mascot on the flight into Denver was Hugh the Manatee and 10/10 no notes. Keep the whimsey, Frontier.

Having survived the first leg of my westward journey, I have made camp in a quiet corner of the Denver airport. Next flight leaves in 12 hours.

Got my sticker, and a nice walk to and from my polling place at the elementary school 3 blocks away.
November 4, 2025 at 5:43 PM
I leave Friday to spend 32 hours in the Denver airport and also 5 days with my dad, which will mark the longest I have ever in my life spent with just my dad. And the longest my clingy Lockdown Cat has spent without me since he moved in.

Welcome to Christmas Light Optimization Time (CLOT). I refuse to call it "Standard" time when we're using it for barely over a third of the year.

Another successful Trick or Treat in the bag! Candy held out without too much extra, a couple first timers, kids and grownups all had fun.

Why is the most robustly engineered part of this Halloween animatronic the part that I need to disassemble to fix the part that broke?

I am watching a neighbor's dog, a pittie who has (with some generous rounding) zero chill. Same with obedience training. When I go over to feed him and he busts out the Intruder Alert, I've taken to telling him "You know me. Use your inside bark." To my shock, he actually barks quieter.

I am at 48% of the audiobook of Dracula and just realized the epistolary novel is the literary equivalent of found footage movies.
Weirdly, the epistolary novel is one of my favorite literary forms, and found footage is my least favorite cinematic form.
