Had someone quite sternly tell me today that they WERE eligible for the Covid vaccine as they had sleep apnea. And when I calmly explained the change in eligibility and who can now have it, they promptly got up and stormed out 🤷🏻♀️

An elderly patient randomly appeared in my doorway today thinking he’d come to the walk-in flu clinic. He hadn’t. Walk-in clinics are on Saturdays and I was mid-blood clinic. But I did his flu jab anyway… He’d made the effort to come and they take mere seconds to do 💉😊

Had to defer to a colleague earlier to remove stitches from someone’s cheek. They were so tight and so fine, I couldn’t see them…even with me bins on. And I wasn’t about to go digging about in someone’s face 😱

I’ve had part one of a 2-day online vaccinations & immunisations training course today. I fully expected to have lost the will to live by the end, but the presenter was very engaging and the bombardment of information wasn’t too overwhelming…
