Because Bluesky is built on a protocol, an outside group can build end-to-end encrypted messaging long before the core Bluesky team likely would have gotten around to it. Very cool ➡️
The @germnetwork.com team has been participating in the #e2eemessagingWG to figure out a way to have secure private group messaging that is compatible with ATProto.
They've shipped a proof of concept of using your account to do this!
