Finished Ulysses this afternoon and am just floored by everything about it. Joyce knew how to revel with and manipulate the fundamentals of language and linguistic perception like no one else I have encountered. Like witnessing both the birth and death of the word at the beginning and end of time.

Know Structuralism on paper seems like it would be kinda cold and calculating, but the sense of humor nearly all structural filmmakers have completely proves otherwise.
