I've wanted to be a published author for as long as I can remember. I love telling stories. It's why TTRPGs is one of my great loves. But looking at how viciously people review books they don't like may turn me off ever trying to publish anything while alive. I don't think I can handle the vitriol.

They didn’t “have sex with underage girls”.
They raped them.

When I was a kid, I wanted to be a knight. I was obsessed with Arhurian legend and tales of knights. When I found ttrpgs, i gravitated towards fighters and paladins. So, as someone who LOVES to read, I am so stoked to see an influx in "knightcore" fantasy novels as of late. Especially Lady Knights!

As someone who loves Mary Shelley's original novel, I wasn't expecting GDTs' film to be a perfect adaptation. I was expecting and hoping for his vision of the story. And that's what I got. 1

I finally got to see Frankenstein. Oh my God. What a beautiful film. The original novel is my favorite story of all time and GDT is my favorite director. While this is not a 1:1 adaptation of the text, it is most definitely GDT's vision. 1

Let me put it this way. Disability supports are necessary to get disabled people out of survival mode. Because we can't get out of survival mode without help.

I'm a few years late to the party, despite having it and it's prequel on my shelf for ages, but I'm finally reading Legends & Lattes and i genuinely don't know how anyone could not enjoy this book. I'm ten chapters in, and I love the core cast so much already.

Zohran winning is so much bigger than just NYC. He beat the establishment. A Muslim socialist beat the establishment to become mayor of one of the biggest cities in the country. This win is a harbinger of change. It is a dose of hope that we have desperately needed.
