I miss my favourite grumpy baby, Boots. She had a wonderful and long life, so there’s no sadness there, but I do miss having my cynical shadow and sidekick around to judge others and only let me - and no one else - feed her and give her a belly rub.

The section on how bad faith the ‘democratisation of art’ argument sums up a lot of my views. Art, in all mediums, has always been for all people. If you don’t care to practice to get to a level that passes quality control then it’s on you, for a plethora of reasons that serve no excuse.

It’s deeply infuriating to me that employers don’t financially compensate you for your commute. It’s taken me an hour and a half yesterday and today to get to work from home and vice versa, it should only take 35 minutes. Bullshit on every fucking level.
