A completely unnecessary relegation. Repeatedly fell asleep defensively today, a reflection of the season as a whole. The whole club has been sleepwalking this season and we got what we deserved.

All season we’ve been so slow to spot danger from throw-ins and free kicks-last night their player had time to mis-control, get it back out of his feet and wind up for the cross and there was still no pressure on the ball.

Yes, we forced enough chances to merit the win but there has to be a more reliable way to create opportunities than launching it long hoping something will drop or relying on Alfie to produce some individual quality. Any control we had departed with Walsh in my opinion.
