I got my email notification that I'm eligible for the fall COVID & flu vaccines. I made an appointment online in about 5 minutes to go this Saturday to a pharmacy <1 km away, and they're both free. Sometimes, in spite of what the Cons & the Americans say, our health care system can work.

I met him on my very first acting gig. I was a day player on an episode of Jeremiah and we weren't working any scenes together, but he walked up and introduced himself and asked about me. It was a brief experience but his kindness that day always stayed with me.
