So far we've found a couple minor uses for it but nothing major. The requirement of needing an edge next to (essentially) double-sided collision doesn't happen in too many places.

Here's an example of doing Lakebed Boss Key Skip with it

Then if there happens to be collision on the other side, you can pop through once you lean far enough forward to hit it.

This weird edge behavior doesn't happen on gc or wii (they have no problems letting Link fall) which is why it's HD only.

Normally when you look down into a wall, you get pushed away so that Link/the camera don't go into it. However HD really doesn't want Link to fall off edges in first person, so if getting pushed away from the wall would make Link fall, the game just allows looking into it.

Some interesting new clipping tech for TPHD! If you're standing on an edge, you can just look down through walls and clip through them *IF* there happens to be opposite facing collision on the other side (so things like fences, doors, gates, etc.) This does not work on gc or wii

A really cool new trick was found in OoT recently to Hookshot Jump all the way up Fire Temple and skip most of the dungeon up to Hammer. This saves over 2 minutes in categories that do Fire Temple and was one of the biggest tricks still left to find.
